Product Warranty
Sydney Steel Stairs provides a 10-year structural warranty on all steel stair frames,
stringers, and welded components. This warranty covers structural integrity,
workmanship defects, and material failures that occur under normal residential or
commercial use.
Workmanship Warranty
All fabrication and installation work carried out by Sydney Steel Stairs is backed by a
5-year workmanship guarantee. This includes:
• Weld quality
• Assembly and fabrication accuracy
• Installation alignment and fit
• Fixings and connection integrity
If any workmanship-related issue arises within the guarantee period, we will repair or
replace the affected component at no cost.
Surface Finish & Coating Warranty
- Powder-coated finishes: 3-year coating warranty covering peeling, blistering,
and abnormal fading. - Galvanised coatings: 10-year corrosion resistance warranty under normal
environmental exposure.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or unauthorized repairs or modifications.
This warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by misuse, overloading, or improper maintenance.
- Corrosion caused by harsh chemical exposure or incorrect cleaning.
- Modifications performed by third parties.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Timber treads, glass balustrades, or other third-party-supplied components.
